Narrative
While digging in the depths of an abandoned space station, a group of young space colonists come face to face with the most terrifying life form in space. See how movies from the Alien franchise are ranked by IMDb user ratings. Director Fede Alvarez sought out the special effects crew from Alien 2 (1986) to work on the creatures. Physical sets, practical creatures and miniatures were used wherever possible to aid the later VFX work.
The logo itself suffers a burst of static and turns green
When Rain shuts down the ship’s gravity and shoots all the aliens, all their blood floats in the air in long, smeared patterns. Zero gravity in real life causes liquids to form into spherical shapes rather than spread out into long, flat pieces like in the movie.. Andy: The solution for a claustrophobic astronaut is to give him more space.. 20th Century Studio Fanfare Freezes and becomes ominous, as in Alien 3 (1992), leading into the opening scene of the film.

Featured in Nerdrotic: The Acolyte: Force is Female CONFIRMED? Death of Cinema – Real BBC @MauLer @HeelvsBabyface (2024). Nothing special, a lot of really positive reviews are overblown. The characters are mostly completely bland and devoid of any real character, except for Andy.
As a huge fan of the original, I left disappointed
I honestly had no emotional attachment to most of the characters and most of them were just boring and fat. The film was tasteless at times, seemed to take a long time to get going, and relied heavily on Alien franchise clichés to add any real color to the plot and screenplay. The special effects were good enough and the design of the original xenomorph was excellent, although the face huggers look worse in this movie than in Alien and Aliens for some reason. I’m not too excited about the current hype surrounding Romulus, it’s not a terrible movie but it’s not great either.
